All artwork displayed at Meter is created in limited editions. The pricing for the work is influenced by a number of factors, including the reputation of the artist, size of the edition, and the number of prints sold to date. Needless to say, this is a complex equation, and it is the nature of limited editions to increase in price. As more prints within an edition are sold, fewer prints are therefore available. And as fewer prints are available, in some cases the price increases. Prices change without notice. However, once we have confirmed your order, you are guaranteed that price for that image. This means that even if the price increases, if you have already placed your order and we processed the order, you will pay the amount displayed when you initiated the order. However, if you decide to order additional prints within the same edition, it is possible that the price may have increased, and you will pay the new amount for the new orders. It is entirely possible that a work may increase in price while on display at the Meter web site and in your Viewing Room or Shopping Cart. If you placed an image in your personal Viewing Room or Shopping Cart, the price listed for the piece will be updated and current.
